Default On a truck as I type...

2016 Electric Blue Scion iM 6 speed on it's way.

This will be my second brand new Scion I have owned (previously drove a 1st gen XB from 2005-2009). I hope this car treats me as well as the first did.

Am I excited about the iM... YES. Do I expect it to be a racecar... NO. I expect 37 mpg out of a car that should be a little more fun and peppy to drive than the Civics and Integras of the late 90's, with all the amenities of a modern car, and stylish looks. It's a Corolla hatchback with a body kit, and I'm stoked about it.

On the mod list so far:
-Window tint (appointment will be scheduled same day as the car is picked up)
-Subwoofer and amp install (sitting on my living room floor - write up coming)
-HPS ram air intake (through pictures online I have determined the existing short ram for the 1.8L Valvematic Corollas will fit with minimal modifications, it's ordered and will be getting installed the day I get the car, write up to follow)
- Lowering springs (This is a bitter point for me... I want the TRD springs but also don't want to wait... they are not available yet (as of 31AUG 15 on the Scion web site, I am in talks with H&R, and Eibach to see if any of their existing springs for the Toyota Auris in the European market will be compatible).

I hope there are some other car guys out there like myself just as excited a I am to get their new iM. I look forward to getting a few modifications done and showing it off at some local car shows before the end of the season. Name: IMG_6379_zpsdldsbabc.jpeg

That's evil posting a picture of them on a truck... I am still waiting on delivery. I'm told I'll have it before the weekend. Two local dealers have theirs, but not the dealer I ordered mine from. I'm being told the truck broke down... whatever. I am anxious to say the least. None of the other local dealers have a blue one or I'd be knocking on their door.

Gulp....$20k for this? Far better options IMHO. For that money you could get a demo/12mo old GTI and have 4x the fun (and quality).
