Does anyone know where I can get a Toyota Emblem for my iQ? For the record, I'm not "upgrading", I just prefer the look of the Toyota emblem. My cousin in the UK also has an iQ and they have the Toyota emblem there.

I asked my dealership and they said they can't order from dealerships in the UK or Japan. And I don't know if Toyota emblems from other cars will fit. Anybody have any ideas?

I did that with my first gen xB. This time I'm keeping the Scion logo on it.

Have you tried eBay? I have seen some on the Japan eBay that light up or have colors behind the logo. Maybe give that a shot.

 

Yea I've tried ebay, that's usually where I check first. And I'm just looking for the plain one, not interested in the ones with the blue or red stickers. Do you guys know if the front emblem on the iq is the same size as other emblems on other Scions?

 

I think the badges are the same size for the Lexus, Scion and Toyota's as there's pictures of an iQ with Lexus badges used.

I think the blue/red stickers you're talking about are just add on's that sit inside the badge.

I'm pretty sure the emblems are not the same size on all cars.. the Scion emblem on the front is pretty big and so far I've not seen a Toyota emblem that big.

 

Wow.. I guess nobody knows.. Does anybody at least know where I can find a picture of a Scion iQ front bumper without the emblem? At least I will be able to tell if the Toyota emblem will line up with the holes.

 

Considering they're all coming from the same production line, the bumpers are more than likely identical. They probably don't even install the emblems until they hit port.

 

Yea you're probably right. But how can I find an emblem that's the perfect fit? The Toyota emblems on other cars are different sizes. And the dealerships over here can't order from Europe or Asia. Is there another place I can order from?

 

Well, the car hasn't been out in the states but what 2-3 months? Someone's gonna have to be the guinea pig and find out what emblem fits. Toyota emblems vary in size so you're gonna have to do some foot work if you really want it.

 

Right you are. Somebody has to do the leg work.

 

Or someone with a Toyota badge could take a picture with a measure in front so you know. ;)

Also fishing line, masking tape and 3M glue removal.

Please note when removing the front badge, that you will need to mask all around the emblem because it is inset into the hood and you could cut into the paint with the fishing line.

 

Be aware that if a cop runs your plate, and it comes back as a Scion and you have Toyota emblems on your car, they may want to stop and talk to you on the side of the road.

If that happens you have one of two problems, a really dumb cop or a really dumb cop.

 

my area is filled with dumb cops maybe mine can be the new aston martin; lol

 

MOST scion regs/ins cards say TOYO......

 

i'll order an iQ emblem tomorrow and we'll see what happens.....

 

WE'LL i believe a 75431-02080 will work for the rear as they look identical right down to mounting tabs. Front will have to wait til it arrives as its coming from west coast.
