Default Serious stereo question....

So I'm pretty damned interested in an iQ but 1 HUGE issue got me discounting it as a viable option right off the bat.

Where could/would one put a 10" subwoofer WITHOUT removing rear seats and still being able to sit 4 people???

there's VERY little room. I checked. As I've got two under seat 10"s in my x now.

You may need to reconsider how much bass you want, since space is really tight in an iQ. A small enclosure volume 8" under the seat may be the only way to go. The iQ is barely a 4 seater, really more like a 2 seat with two emergency seats.

Probably not going to get it if I can't fit at least ONE 10" without losing seating.

I would highly recommend OEM Audio+ for the iQ sound system. I've sat in an iQ with this system installed. It's amazing. They use the stock location and although you would loose the very small about of space between the rear seat and the back deck they have a sub enclosure that fits back there.

You can find out more here: OEM Audio +

Originally it was going to be a 10", it was redesigned so I'm not sure if it's still a 10 or 8" sub. All of their speakers and enclosures are specifically designed for the interior of the iQ. I've heard the system in person and it's simply amazing.

I only run pioneer and only towards their upper echelon. so even if it sounds good or maybe even better I wouldn't be able to rock it, ha ha.
