Is anyone else having a problem with their car accelerator failing while driving?

The dealer tells me it's from the after market cruise control sending a signal to stop sending gas to the accelerator, even though it's not on?

 

i'm assuming you have the rostra 250-9621 unit, I have the same unit and have had no issues so far, however, I would recommend zip tying the connectors that go to the rostra switch and switch harness to the cruise control module, the pins that you have to assemble together were not snapped in firmly when assemblying the wires/connectors, I pushed the pin tabs on the wire up a bit, locked them securely into the harness and then zip-tied the harness together so no chance of it separating,
