Lightbulb I have a high iQ.

I got a iQ this Wednesday in Magnetic Gray Metallic. I'm moving from a smart car and the ride is so much better on the iQ and sorry smart compared to iQ you suck. I'm selling my smart as soon as the title arrives from finance company. I just don't see smart being able to compete now that the iQ is here as it requires premium gas, expensive Mercedes service, has a crappy suspension that makes a subway ride feel smooth by comparison, lack of aftermarket maintenance parts after 4 years of being in US, and even with their new 3 year warranty it doesn't compare to the one that comes with Scion. I'm happier than a bear with a jar of honey.

Congrats. Never knew the smart car needed to be serviced by Mercedes.

There is nothing smart about a smart car. Mileage isnt nearly as impressive as it seams for what it is and all you give up and the cost of ownership well outweighs anything you will save in fuel.

The smart centers are all in Mercedes dealerships.

My only reservation concerning the iq is the CVT. What are your impressions thus far? I would much prefer a manual but it is not available.

Also wondering how the freeway ride is compared to my '06 xB.

Thanks.

It's smooth as silk to me and very nice compared to smart. I hadn't driven a regular car in 3 years. The smart has a manual transmission controlled by a computer controlled clutch (herky jerky in auto mode). This iQ is like moving to a luxury car as far as transmission and ride compared to my old car. I guess you would have to experience how bad a riding car a smart is to really understand.
