Default Scion Bonus Cash - can someone explain this?

Hi Everyone:

I'm not new to the forums, nor am I new to Scions. I've owned a 2008 xB and 2005 xB and really enjoyed both cars.

I'm posting because my wife and I are contemplating leasing a 2014 Scion iQ. I currently live 1.6 miles from work and am in need of cheap, simple around-town transportation. The iQ lease at $125 seems really appealing to me (and is $200/month cheaper than my current payment), but I have a couple of questions about the Scion Pure Lease Process:

1) I just finished graduate school - will I get the $750 rebate on a lease? If so, how is this applied? My guess is that it's knocked off the lease down payment.
2) I've noticed that the iQ is eligible for $1,000 Bonus Cash on a lease. What exactly IS Bonus Cash, and how is it applied? I've searched high and low and can't seem to find any coherent explanation of this incentive.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Your best bet would be to contact a dealer and ask. I'm pretty sure the bonus cash is applied to the cost of the vehicle, lowering your amount. Not sure about the rebate.
