I would like to point out that the factory options from Scion ( 5 Axis ) will make some difference. A nice drop, lip kit, wheels and some paint and the xD can be one hot ride.

 

I think I really do like it. With the bigger engine I don't know if it'll make me consider trading in my Fit, though.

Can't wait to see all the colors and hop into one at a dealer!

I hate to say it but I want one! I think it has some of the elements of the classic box but adds some aerodynamics to it. It does have the t2b design in front and side profiles. Imagine what japanese 1st gen bb owners thought when they saw their redesign. Now my only question is where to get that "t" emblem that was on the pic of the toyota box that everyone discounted as not being the next gen box.

a few bits:

i miss having the window behing the doors on the xb. gave it the all around glass wrap look. instead there's a 2piece window on the back doors. that threw me off a bit.

i like the look of the bumper on the xb... but the shape - how it pertrues so much from the front. any bigger and you can call it pinocchio.

can't tell form the pics, but 4 wheel disc brakes and paddle shifting is always a good thing.

if i had my say i wouldn't have released the pics of the cars with red and white. i would have shown a yellow xb and a dark blue type color for the xd.

again: for us hardcore scion fans - we should remember that once we get a hold of a scion we don't leave it stock for so long. wait until you see some modded ub b's & d's and then make your decision. i think right now is just too soon to decide.

 

I never said it looks like everything else on the road I said it will have lots of cargo space like every other ugly crossover out there.

Then I wasn't speaking of you. There are a few who have said that it looks like everything else tho. And as much as others are lavishing praise on the new bB, it looks strikingly similar to the PT Cruiser.

Ah, I didn't see any other posts that said that. I do wish we got the bB, though, which does have some resemblance to the pt cruiser but not that much imo.

I just really don't like that to make a car look good you need to add a body kit, rims, lowering springs etc. The xB didn't need that but apparently the new one does. Which with a rumored base price of around 16k to make the xB2 look good you're looking at a 20k car with accessories. At that price there is alot of competition and honestly I don't think it can compete well at that price but we shall see.
