That vinyl on the side is hecka ___. No special lip kit? The color's nice, but everything else about it sucks.

No they don't. Look at the menu on the lower left side of the page. Follow it out towards the middle and click on Features + Gallery

Yeah, I was looking for the old RS 5.0 site so I could quickly see some of the specs, and up popped the new half-@$$ed RS 6.0 site. I don't know why they launched it because it's no where near completion. I have to say, that stupid racing strip down the side looks nasty. It reminds me of some Cobalts I've seen around here, and it's exactly the same as one of the color options for the same model year as my old Corolla.... eww. I thought the blue would have been better if it wasn't as cyan-y. Like maybe a more true blue or darker or something. It's honestly gross looking. And I agree with Jonathan.. it looks better on a Tacoma. They also threw up a page on Facebook that I joined, but it, too, is totally unfinished. So I guess my main beef is that they should have spent a little more time in developing their webpages... and the car... before they released them.

P.S. I think there are fewer made this year because they know that it sucks and they know they will never sell that many. I'd rather buy a stock tC and put all the add-ons myself than drive that thing around. Sad.

Agreed. People will by these tC's. As much as I dont like the color or the vinyl and the fact that there really isnt anything special about it...they will sell. Lots of us dont like it. Scion didnt take any time on this one...not sure why. They should have made it totally bad ___ or something. But they took the easy way out. But again it will sell. They know it will. Some people will actually buy this tC.

Like all the other tC's in any color, this could look good if done right. Id buy one if I didnt buy my xB lol. I think it looks ok but I would drop it, get wheels or spacers + new tires, and most likely add the factory lip kit.

what is disappointing you would have hoped for a great RS send off like the XB1 got with a color not seen on a normal production car here... seems like the 5.0 blows this one away

I agree with you too. I thought the 5.0 was nice. The color could have been better I think but still worked out nice. I thought "wow this is a nice RS". Then this one comes out and I am completely disappointed. If they added a lip kit of some sort it would be a bit better. The decal I wouldnt like but that could be taken off. The color is ok...could have done better. But when I was working at Toyota one of the banners or Scion posters had different color Scions on it other then the stock colors. The tC was gold...like the xB rs. Even that I thought would have been a nice color. But o well. I just hope they come out with a new body style for the tC soon. Its been too long.....

the 5.0 didnt give you the BBK. what are you guys talking about? all you got with the 5.0 was springs/shocks, sway and i think a strut bar. basically ALL the things i can get on my FM and my cars color is much better.

I don't think the color is terrible, but it's definitely not my preference for this vehicle. The nav system and the stitching on the steering wheel are the only things I like about this. But it will sell fine, even though they kinda mailed this one in. By the way, I'm new to this site and think these boards are awesome so far. Anybody know any other sites like this that I should check out?
