It's another BLUE tC... the RS6.0
It is sad, really sad but then can't even sell all the 5.0's my local dealer has one on the lot untitled(brand new) it is parked next to the new XB 7.0 they have not sold yet either. They only sold there XB 6.0 a few months ago.... demand has sure dropped and I think part of it is disappointment with the package and over all vehicles and part of it is Toyota's problems in general. These are compounded with a bad market
oh, and you want to cry about how it doesn't have a radio cover? how many people open and close it every single time they turn it on and off? seriously, after the first week of owning mine, the only time it moved was when somebody who hadn't seen it before wanted to play with it. the friggan radio door is not a selling point on the scion tc.
As for everything else, most people do NOT want tacky graphics on their cars.
of course every release series isnt going to win everyone over, this does seem to be quite a failure, and as an rs2 owner going by the picture I don't like how its a close color to the 2.0. Personally I think the Rs1, 2, and 5 were the nicest.
yeah, but look at the mustang's, the f-150 svt raptor, dodge challengers, chargers, ram pick-ups. it isn't a huge deal.
oh well. if you don't want an RS, don't buy an RS. buy a regular tc with the radio door, and vinyls and add the options you want.

not bad...color sux but have nice new features. i think if they would have made it like the black RS then they would def get more sales. this is a desperation move and it may or may not work. the only thing they really have going for them is the interior and possible the vinyl going down the side. but that reminds me of the chargers that have that on them.
the black RS(5.0?) had me the most curious. full TRD suspension? sign me up. i just disliked the wheels. the the RS4 wasn't too bad. saw one with black superleggera's and it was pretty tight. but the RS1 was THE best lookong. the car just looked good in red. Now I'm going bacl to sleep. wake me up when Scion bring the excitement back and stops marketing the RS lines to those that are 60 and older.
the Blue will sell well in Chicago(RS2 was a hit here) and i bet the radio will sell well on cragslist after they are all stolen out of the cars.

lol i read all 7pages, and idk why people are suprised with the fail coming scion i just cant wait for the tC to get dropped. if they arent gonna give it more power and just change headlight and headunits every year lulz. at least if they stop making the tC i want have to worry about spoting 40 omw to work(10min drive lol) i bet their design team is nothing but highschool kids if they dont step up the tC or discountinue it i will be selling mines and heading somewhere else that isnt toyota and scion seems like every since they started selling more cars than anybody they stopped listening to the consumer
i thougt they all failed as far as performance goes expect the 5.0 if you got everything on it but then it would be well over 20k and not worth it anymore they need to sell these POS's for what their worth just b/c you put a bright color,___ stripe, more color matched interior, and another o so great headunit doesnt it make it more this one even has stock wheels lol

yea, 2.4l engine at 160 hp? weak. the new Sonata has a 2.4l 190HP engine. this car really needed a high compression head to get it to at least 190-200Hp. Even Suzuki has a 190Hp 2.4l now with available AWD. what happened to "Oh what a feeling....Toyota!" ? I feel like sleeping. thank god for the xD's easy to get Hp add-on's

The blue is not original, but will turn heads none the less. The graphics look Dodge-ish. The Nav is a really nice system. The seats are nice (not as nice as the ones in the R.S 2.0). Overall, I think Toyota knows what they are doing. This one may not appeal to all those who own other year RS's but I'm sure they recorded the greatest success with the RS 2.0 and are trying to appeal to those stragglers who are still fairly new to Scion (while keeping costs down to prepare for the launch of two new models)
Also, I don't think that Scion is ignoring it's consumers. If anything, they have been trying to fine tune what has made the brand successful, which is being cheap, reliable, versitile and different. Scion hasn't started producing masses of cars either; you might see gobs of them in LA but truth be told they only produce 150k Scions a year(all 3 models). This compared to 400k Corolla's alone is pretty amazing i'd say. But that's just my 2 cents. I'm still excited to see the new tC and I've got my money ready for a deposit on the FT-86.

thats great here in Charlotte you see 50plus a day it just starts to get annoying seeing the car you drive everywhere on the road all the time lol, this isnt cheap 19-20k for this car should be more like 17k and these seats are just colored match like all the other RS's nothing special, and if they listen to the ppl who told them to do this s##t well idk b/c i know we all wanted things like bi-xenon,bigger brakes, more hp,better topend these cars die after 5.5k,diff interior, gears(final drive) maybe even a 6speed,LSD, so no i dont think they listen to the consumer well, and reliable lol toyota is putting a 2nd transmission in my car and its been 2weeks since i dropped it off i mean its a 160hp does it really tear apart trannys like that lol
I think they will be saving all those recommendations for the new models. Everyone is already tired of the current tC. Why would they spend gobs of money on their last special edition when they know none of the people they want to own one will buy them. Late bloomers are going to buy the 6.0. The early adopters that got the other release series are waiting for something completely new, this is also why it seems as if every special edition after the first couple have failed. Lets face it, the novelty of release series concept has worn off.
