I see that has MFG plates. Must be Toyota's box that they rolled out of Torrance. Wonder if it is model #1?? Was that picture at Knotts??? I was too busy keeping an eye on my car to do much looking around. I am now oficially PO'd.

Why would I have a RS4.0 grille?

 

I just bought a rs4 on Friday. Went into the dealership to get a plain ol' xB and took the one off the showroom floor. The paint job is awesome. However, it doesn't have the iPod connector thingy with the stereo, and the dealership said that has to come from the factory. That sounded odd to me--a customized car and they can't put in an accessory? Anybody know anything about that?

 

from what i understand...the dealer should have one in stock. but to be honest, your money will be better spent on an aftermarket radio. you can find one cheaper that performs better

 

Thats BS...my dealer installed the ipod radio in both my xB and my wifes xA

 

Got my rs4 last week. LOVE LOVE LOVE the penny. I got number 84! What's yours?

 

get the ipod accessory and install it yourself.. not that hard.. and you can run the ipod cable to your glove box instead of the center console where the stock location is.

 

I just cant get over the color, its not that hot to me, now if they would only release that orange color, I think it was on the 1.0 now that was hot!

 

Well I have number 0160 and I love it...It's tricky to not scratch this paint...havn't yet but man if I did it would be an end all.....i put Green Lights under it cause It's the only color that looks hot on it...with the fade into colors and all. Dark accessories seem to be better than crome. And anything else aftermarket just wont match the paint...so Im kinda lost in upgrading out side.

I just got one on friday. #1973 of 2500. Wanted to get a body kit but the paint is hard to come by. A lot of people ask me about the paint"is it a custom paint?" "Thats not factory is it?" I am thinkin of have'n my add on mods smoke or gunmetal like my eyelids(still on the fence), halo lights black with blue, rain deflectors, and rims are gonna be gunmetal. But I dont kno the width and offset to make em 20's.

 

I am only gonna go with 17" rims.....i know you have to cut to make it a 20 fit...and i aint gonna cut that paint if i don't have to...

If its a daily driver, its going to be a pain to drive w/ 20" JMO
I've got 18's and kind of wish I had 17's so that it doesnt rub so easily.

 

I just put 19's on my RS4 and I've done full turns and have felt no rub.
