Anyone know anything about this juicy rumor?

Meanwhile, one Fuse we hope doesn't need changing is Scion's latest concept car. The study from Toyota's trendy brand showcases how a future sports model could look, and the firm will be closely monitoring reaction to the study at the US expo.
That could be great news for UK buyers, too, because whispers in New York about the Scion brand's launch over here are starting to increase in volume.

I doubt it. . . that would mean RHD Scions. . . and there are plenty of RHD Toyota's that would be indirect competition for the Scion line. . . Corolla Runx, Yaris, etc
interesting rumor...
considering the unexpected success of the recently launched Toyota Aygo (which also won Top Gear Car of the Year [tied with the veryon]), and the fact that the Aygo used very 'Scion-like' marketing -- it seems very feasible.
just look at the website HERE and the modded aygo as well (similar to the 5axis xB, in concept). it seems like a strong possibility that the rumor is true. plus, just imagine how much better handling our Scions will be.

The whole point Scion exists here is that the median buyer is older than Toyota would like. . . thus they created Scion.
Is it a problem in Europe too?

Just think, Euro-Spec Scions, a whole new theme for Scion.
"Yeah, I just picked up this sweet Euro-Spec shift ****!"
"How much was it?"
"$165 Shipped man."
"What?! Why did you buy that?"
"Um, duh, its Euro-Spec dude, its cool, really; all the writing on the box was in, well, English, but its still rad"
And maybe they'll get the V-Dub guy to do the UK Scion commercials: "Re-Pimp Ze Auto" (and yeah I know Germany/UK=not the same thing, but still funny none the less)

I wonder what happens when they stop production for the bB (xB). From what I understand, they only offer the (old) generation in the US market now (and Guam, I think). Everywhere else now gets PT cruiserfied new model.
i doubt we will get the scion brand, weve just got a new yaris model which would be in direct competition with both the xA and xB. there are already too many small cars over here. My local dealer has heard nothing about it either.
I really don't like the new PT cruiser-ish looking vehicle. It looks like so many other things out there now. The xB is original. It looks different and stands out from the crowd. I really hope they don't replace the xB with some vehicle that looks like a lot of other cars. It's ok to be different. Really it is.
