Scion Corps. must like the color silver on the tC.
Most of their introductory tC ads. are silver tC's.
Like the 05' intro, Teleporter commercial, and now this 08' intro.

C'mon! At least introduce the new colors.

I think sizzling crimson mica is red.
Not sure what wave line pearl is.

I would assume the Wave Line Pearl is close to the Azure...

I'm not digging the new grill by the way... the honeycomb looks a lot sportier in my mind and this new grill just doesn't mesh with the rest of the car.

I'd like to see the tail lights lit up before judging them and all in all I'm so-so with the head lights.

Wait, the rear tails have a lens over them? I didn't see that in the other pics. But anyways, I'm liking the new heads and tails. And if that's the regular tC then what is the Spec one gonna look like?

as far as the grill and the fit of that hood.... but i can see what they were aiming for..unique and original, ya know? that's the scion corp we all know and love

Probably the same - the stuff different on the Spec is usually the wheels and some interior stuff, right? Heads and tails are the same.

Yeah, but on 07', the head light housing is different between the SPEC and the standard tC. Very little difference though. Maybe "no chrome" on the SPEC headlights.

Maybe - I can see them keeping the projectors out as a cost saving measure and to further differentiate the two models - I'd be down with that. Before it just seemed like there wasn't much they could strip out of the spec to make it different.

Wouldn't doubt that at all and maybe Scion will just keep the current headlight style on the 08' Spec version. Anyhow, I think the Spec version is a bad idea. So much for pure pricing.

Don't know why you're saying that - the press release does say projectors.

I added a lens flare to simulate the tails lit up...

eh ... the press release says "projector-type"
knowing they're keeping the costs down, this likely means they mearly look like projectors. That means no HID and the possibility they won't even be projection housings, just made to appear as though they are.
All sorts of form, but no function.

Possibly - my guess is real projector, but not HID - they'd probably note is separately if they were adding HID or even HID capability. I'm not gonna switch out the headlights if there isn't some real win in there... I guess we just have to wait and see.

I wish they'd add another interior door handle, one that's further back. I don't like how far forward the handle is now, you have no control of the door if it's windy! That's one of the only things I'd change.
