nah, canadian market cars are LHD.

but RHD JDM imports are alot more common there due to their imported vehicle laws not being as wacky as american laws.

not to mention canadian cars are crazy expensive. my cousin bought a camry se in canada for 36,000 dollars! this was when the canadian and the american dollar were practically even btw.

any ways, the same car is like 25 here lol

as just about every other currency. The US govt wouldnt allow the US dollar to plummet without taking some other countries.

and the Canadian dollar fell a lot because it wasn't prepared to have a strong dollar. it's a good thing and a bad thing. a lot of american companies produce their products in canada, such as vehicles.

when the canadian dollar got so strong, it was harder for the american companies to pay the wages of the employees working there.

On top of that car sales were slowing greatly here, especially trucks and SUV's, Many of which are made just south of toronto.

all in all, there were massive layoffs and firings because the foreign companies couldn't afford to pay for the people working at their factories in canada. this skyrockets unemployment. which shoots up inflation and the rest is history
