SCION is an authentic brand, created to mesh with youthful tastes and sensibilities, and we’re excited to expand our presence in Canada with new vehicles that offer a unique blend of flexibility, personalization, affordability and fuel efficiency,” said Larry Hutchinson, director of Toyota Canada Inc.
I'm just wondering when scion is going to souith america, for example, colombia.every time i go to colombia and i show pics of my scion people go crazy about it including my old 2004 hot lava and now with my gold rush 2008 i'm shure i'll be a hot seller there.

and the Canadian dollar fell a lot because it wasn't prepared to have a strong dollar. it's a good thing and a bad thing. a lot of american companies produce their products in canada, such as vehicles.
when the canadian dollar got so strong, it was harder for the american companies to pay the wages of the employees working there.
On top of that car sales were slowing greatly here, especially trucks and SUV's, Many of which are made just south of toronto.
all in all, there were massive layoffs and firings because the foreign companies couldn't afford to pay for the people working at their factories in canada. this skyrockets unemployment. which shoots up inflation and the rest is history
