Keep in mind the show cars ar ejust rolling shells and may not even be drivable or capable of highway speeds.

Yeah, if the 5 axis was the car, they would not need the bank of japan to loan them any money, or cut hours for their employees at toy.

Quote: Wow, the 5 axis kit is really glamorous on the iQ.

The base model doesn't do the car justice.

EDIT:
Even though I'm not sure what the base model (black) pictured is, and I'm too lazy to see what kind of car it is. It's a small Toyota, but it's most likely a Euro or Japanese car we don't have here.
Ummm... that black one IS the stock iQ. Also, there's no separation in the kit because it's all molded in. That car is a one-off. Five Axis may release a less aggressive version of the kit, but that's the only one that will ever look like that.

Yep, it's like that red xA roadster they did... fenders and kit are completely one-off fabricated. I still think the stock iQ has mad potential tho, modders are gonna go bonkers for it.

Is that iQ roadster just a conceptual rendering or is that something that they will produce? Cuz that is a niche that REALLY needs to be filled, something like a modern Bertone X/19... imagine if they made that under $16k? Huge.

Smallest 4 passenger car in the world. Unlike the smart car the engine is in the front.

IMHO, Scion is making a bold move that'll help keep the brand above the rest, while other makers are cutting their losses.

Hopefully they'll keep up the good work with a tC replacement, soon.

tC should have been replaced a few yeas ago. it was nice they released that car as it looks today. no masking the real design behing bodykits and such. even then, the silver just nade the car look so boring. When I saw whitem i was like is that the same car? iQ is the saem way. makes sense in Japan, but not in Chicago.

I don't see this breaking any sales records in America. Not with $2 gas. If I still lived in Brooklyn or Queens and had to find parallel parking, I'd definitely consider one, but not Raleigh, where you have to drive everywhere and parking spots are painted in a lot.

thats why I said these car are regional. same for Chicago. xA, xB1 and xD not that popular with the Scion tuning scene here they're slow. But even I get annoyed with my xB1 after driving my xD all the time. but thats why there is a xB2

altho it's funny how many people scoffed at the Geo Metro and it's 3 cylinder.

this a realistic look at how they would turn out here.
