That tC is sick. The funny think you can go the same conversion in Forza motorsport 2 for the 360. I can't believe this is really coming true. a rwd tC. I must be dreaming. lol
This car is hot. I can't wait to see it in action.
I wish the base the next gen tC off of this model.

That'd be interesting though since Scion was never meant to be a mass market company.
However, I don't see why Toyota couldn't do the same with a lesser engine. I mean, the 2AZ makes plenty of power... just flip it 90 degrees and run some axles back there connect to the rear wheels...
Anyway, Hollis needs to stop **** teasing us.
At this time we do not have confirmed plans to produce a tC rear wheel drive, but a lot of people will want to take one home."
Love the car .........also love that the radio door is still there...........and the cig lighter......
One problem building a RWD car is loss of power by the time it gets to the wheels....a 200 horse FWDcar will more than likely put more power to the wheels than a RWD 200horse car.......due to moving mass of the drive trane eating up the power.....

Nope. When you accelerate, weight is transferred to the rear wheels so though you might get more power to the ground, you also get less traction.
FWD is good for stability though. If you're accelerating and you yank the steering wheel, chances are you're gonna plow straight rather than spin out. I mean hey, when you crash, at least you see where' your gonna crash!

1. less costly to make = lower priced car
2. easier to handle for MOST people = theoretically safer
3. better stability in snow/wet because it's pulling the car and not pushing = less spinning out
4. easier to make a car fwd = less parts = again.. less $$$
5. Less drivetrain parts = less power loss = more efficient
and besides.. FWD is perfectly fine for 90% of the people who just drive their cars to and from work.
