G4 here, no name tag but they did send a dog tag in my package

 

I recieved an email from Scion today telling me to register still, so I'm guessing that they do still need more cars. From word on the street they need a LOT more tCs.

I thought it was too late, but now it looks like I'll be registering now. =]

 

Are they bumping people?? cuz some ppl are getting emails uninviting them after they've already been selected.

someone clear this up please cuz thats not cool.

 

I had to send them an e-mail saying I couldn't go but got an e-mail saying my packet was on the way

I don't think he means we actually receive two dog tags. I only have one with the Scion emblem on it. I think he meant to say they should've given us two with names on it for name tags.

 

what's with all these different groups like group 3, group 4? i thought there was just 2groups?

 

Who? I haven't heard anything about them bumping people. If anything, I don't think they have 500 yet.

 

thats what i thought too but a pnw guy got an email saying:
"Sorry, but your Scion has not been selected to participate in ScionUnited. Don’t be bummed though; it just didn’t fit within the specs of this particular photo shoot. Thank you for your submission."

 

he probably never got picked, they are most likely trying to be nice to people, my packet is on the way, but I can't go, sent 2 e-mail stating that now

 

I originally got a call from Danny asking if I was available the 14th to the 18th of May for Scion United and that I was one of the 25 selected for group 1, that was a month ago, then today I got the email MissB is talking about. So, now I don't even know if I'm going, need to get some answers, fast, have emails and calls into Kevin, he is looking into it.

 

did you ever call in on this and figure things out???

hope they clear that up and you still get to go.... between those who got accepted and those who declind or couldnt go... i'd be surprised if they bump some1 who can/wants to go

 

they can't just say you can go and then decline you.

i bet that one person was never even picked.

and as for the person in the top 25, did you register twice by accident? call danny and he'll figure things out. he has helped me EVERY TIME i called him.

Only registered once, called Danny, not getting much help there at this time. Talked to Kevin, he said he would get me answers and get back to me, but it looks like they are going to leave me hanging until at least Monday. If I recieve a package before then, great, if not, going to be on the phone looking for answers bright and early Monday morning. How hard is it to look on the list of names that are attending and see if I'm on it. I don't care if they decide to not use my car, but I have already gotten time off work, had scratch in car fixed, set up an appointment to have it detailed next weekend and have reservations in Boulder City for the 13th, I need to get answers so that I can cancel things if I'm not going. I have a headache, lol.

 

Called Danny, again, he said the director was changing some of the cars and it sounds like I may just be moved to a diff. group, will find out more Monday. he didn't think anyone was bumped from the trip.

 

Yea but he was picked. Thats the issue. If he wasnt even picked then we wouldnt even be discussing this right now.
