im gonna get the game for sure. especially because i loved NFS until the underground 2... everything after underground 1 was just "another disc to sell"
lame games from them lately but this game looks really good.

and i dont care if there is gonna be any scion car in the game. And i still think that an advertising with Chris doesn't mean that they gonna put him or his car in the game.

Track records or not, it's still the dumbest thing I've ever seen. It was cool when F1 cars did that in the 60's, but now it's just a lazy attempt to get extra downforce.

lazy attempt?
lol @ your ignorance.
the car shattered all FWD records ever placed on that track.
not to mention it even beat RWD and AWD cars.

does it look dumb? yes
is it functional? extremely

some people value function>form.

and to keep this post slightly on topic.
this NFS better be wayyy better than the other one.
i wouldnt even use that one as drink coaster it was so terrible.

All I'm saying is that there are more creative ways to improve grip rather than bolting a giant 10 foot wing to the hood of the car. Its street car, mechanical grip will play a much bigger role than aero. That thing probably adds more drag that what its worth in the corners.

btw, I've been a mechanic on professional race cars for over 5 years.

Did you just call Rado's Time Attack tC a "Street Car"? Or did you mean something else when you said that.

Oh god....everyone's an expert over the internet. Mechanic does not equate to "Racing Aero Aid expert". Were you a Crew Chief for a particular race car? Did you enginieer and fabricate race components for a particular race team? Are you an actual race car driver? Mechanic......dude that could mean you changed the oil...YAY! Mechanic means squat.

More creative ways to improve grip you said.....yet you didn't name any.

there is no way in hell that is a street car.

LOL....yeah I don't know to many "Street Cars" rolling around with $30+k dollar Sequential transmissions, Air Jacks, full caged, 296wide tires, built tC motor with 1000hp, etc... LOL...at the Street car comment.

Clearly you've been misconstrued about this car. Or perhaps I don't quite understand what you're saying. First off, you said it's "the dumbest thing you've ever seen"....who cares what your personal preference on the way the car looks is - seeing how you used the word "seen". It's still breaking records & winning races which is what the car was built to do. Secondly, if you compare the tC to how it was built before you'll see quite a few aerodynamic drastic changes, no more canards, & no more splitter. This single front wing overpowers both the splitter and canards which it had previously & the front wing aids with 800-900 lbs of downfoce. World-Racing/Chris Rado hired aerodynamic professionals who did numerous amounts of tests & were told how much more beneficial this front wing is over the parts on the car previously. Third....who cares if you're a MECHANIC, it's completely irrelevant to the discussion of the front wing....if that's the case, you have no room to talk, you're a MECHANIC, not a specialist on aerodynamics. I had the pleasure of being around this car while it was being built & know the work & background of what this front wing is capable of doing. Lets put a car that YOU put together (after all, you ARE a mechanic) up against Chris', then we'll see what "the dumbest thing" ever is. Chris wouldn't put this on the car if it wasn't beneficial. & trust me, the LAST THING Chris cares about is what the car looks like.

Can I get an AMEN! People think they woke up one day and decided..."Hey, how about putting a wing on the front cause it "MIGHT" work". They had Experts in Aerodynamics....

Like I mentioned...can someone give me an Advil cause stupidity of comments make my head hurt.

Dont quote me, but most racing setups have a squeeze handle on the shifter which acts as a clutch.. As you grip the shifter, you squeeze the handle to clutch, then shift, then let the handle/clutch out... It all happens alot faster than with a normal manual shifter and clutch...

they also make transmission with straight cut gears which require no clutch at all.
they commonly referred to as dogboxes.

I think you only use the handle when you down shift.
