Default $5 chrome tc grills

hey all, i was planning on getting a set of chrome grills for my tc so i went out and got a can of Duplicolor Chrome paint to paint the original grills to make sure i liked it before i spent all the money...

anyway, i think i might actually just keep it like this... what do you guys think?

Very excellent! I've been thinking of doing this myself but i want an extra set of grills in case I mess up.

Can you give more info on the paint used please?

it was less than $5 at a local auto store, but i've seen it at walmart too... it's hard to mess up, this was the first thing i've ever spray painted before... just pop em out and take them far away from your car to paint (you'd be surprised what a tiny gust of wind can do)

I think you can actually buy a set of grilles that look just like this... but it really doesn't look that bad with the paint.

I'd buy a spare grill to do it to. Looks really nice though, I'm sure the pictures dont do it justice.
