Hey everyone... I have a brand new 2006 silver tc and was wondering what kind of after-market exterior accessories you have added on to your scion tc's?

 

I spray painted my emblems charcoal grey metallic...since i have the FM....looks better than the bright stock silver color, I am not gonna add any body kits or stickers, just gonna keep it clean....get different wheels in da future..

 

i got bluebats overlays for my corners, sylvania cool blue 9005 bulbs, took off the tC on the trunk, JDM Altezza antenna, moved the tC to the front grill, changed front blinkers to chrome painted ones. its simple but i think it makes it look nicer..l ol

 

-Bat's color matched eyelids [tch1B kit]

-Bat's smoked side markers

-Bat's smoked tail lights - no pic yet
-Debadged tC on hatch
-Painted 'Scion' emblems [front&back] Black Metallic Pearl

I know, I know, I need to get some chrome turn signal bulbs. But I'm still looking for ones that burn WHITE, not amber...

its basically an antenna that is smoothe all the way around and matches the original gloss of the bottom end of the original antenna and the little screw thing it sits on. basically in a nut shell its a glossy antenna. i was about to get the s2k antenna but i wanted to stay all Toyota and i liked the glossed look.

i think they make a car stand out. i also think people with badopinions need to modify a civic.

 

S2000 antenna is a nice, low cost, exterior mod. I personally like the stock eyelids over the overlays ... (especially on silver).

 

I dont like the stockers - the overlay looks a lot better.

 

IMO i think the eyelids look great on cars with the GE kit, esspecially when they take out the front emblem. i was considering getting the eyelids, i dont have the GE kit, and i wasnt a big fan of how it looked. however when i saw it with the GE kit, i drooled.. hahaah

Well, you just turned me on to Blue Bat's Eyelids. You're making good business for him! lol.

 

I personally wouldn't put eyelids on my car either, but I know that it's not my place to tell people not. You're being a dick, end of story.

Sidenote: I've always thought it to be funny when people with bad grammar try to talk $hit and be hardass online because they just end up making themself look stupid.

A great exterior mod in my opinion would be an HID kit or making the 3rd brake light red to match the tails

 

I say changing the antenna is the first mod.......then tint. ;-)

 

I likethe s2000 ant, mudguards look good and they are very functional.
Also the bumper app is very nice and lets you place stuff on your bumper.

My exterior mods other than springs and wheels, are:

tint, debadged grill, s2k antenna, smoked side marker light overlays, silverstar bulbs, chrome turn signals that light up amber, amber parking lights, chrome door handles and key deletes, smoked LED tail lights, smoked 3rd brake light.

If I could choose 3 of those, I would say smoked tails, debadged grill, and tint.
