WeDriveScions is correct.. the cf weave is for looks and also takes advantage in the area of it being lightweight..

but nice setup. my cf lip is still on backorder but Brian said that it would, or might, arrive next week. I have a BSP as well, and basically, im just just dropped on stechs with cf eyelids to match the lip.

 

i plan on putting a CF hood on my xB, but i haven't decided yet if i want to fully paint it, or partially and leave some showing. some kind of design (ideas?) i could leave a SCION logo like the factory vinyls exposed in the middle of the hood with silver pinstripe around the edges B-)

I like the way the sun bounces off the weaves when it hits it just right. So, it's staying unpainted. And the wing that will go on the back is the CF APR GT 200 Drag style wing. The plates that come on the wing already will be changed for some different side plates. Here is the wing,




AND here are the plates that I will trade the ones that come with it for.

I was playing with some of the settings last night on my Cybershot (still trying to find out all the ends and outs of it, one helluva camera), and I took some pics that I thought you guys might enjoy. Just trying new Exposure and Appeture settings. Better pics will come as I learn a little more about my camera. Check these out and let me know what you think. Are these decent pics?

CF Front lips/Sides are in stock... very LIMITED in stock however.. still a major shortage in carbon fiber

FYI...Clayton1 can vouch for me when I say the CF fenders did indeed weigh less than the Stock OEM fenders.
