AYEEE! I don't think I can justify 700+ for headlights!

 

hey, i started gathering everything back in Sept and i bearly finished getting my last item which was me headlamps last week. Just dont rush on it. Its tempting to get it started and finished cause you want to see the end results but i took my time.

 

a proper HID setup isnt cheap... i mean, just look at cars that have an HID upgrade option. it's well over 1,000 dollars for the upgrade.

I'm just tempted to steal my sisters TSX headlights and ghetto fab them to my hood. HIDs are a thing of beauty. You guys think duct tape would hold them in place?

 

$700 actually isn't that bad. I think the worst part is test fitting everything.

 

well... if they use duct tape in nascar, and it goes up to 200mph just fine... i'm sure you can duct some headlights on your front end

good luck with those. Their big and hard to adjust. I got them from a seller on ebay that just bought those ebay projectors and he was selling his headlamps for cheap. He said he only had them on for 2 weeks. I got them and they look brand spanking new! he actually had them on 2 different auctions and told him ill buy both and gave them to me for $90 shipped :D

 

You can always sell your old headlamps after you finish to recuperate some of your investment. I sold my old headlamps and all the bulbs associated with them. I created a spreadsheet to keep track of my expenses and my gain from everything I sell. It turned out that my total debit is 440.49. It's ok. i was expecting less.
