Well.... I had my valve cover powdercoated black thanks to nd4spd_4_a_tc. He does powdercoating and also makes custom spark plug cover plates which hide the spark plug wires very cleanly.

Anyhow, here's two pics I managed to take for now. I'll get better ones up soon. Let me know what you think.






If you are interested, send nd4spd_4_a_tc a PM.... he sells painted valve covers for $80 single color + s/h. It is also a core exchange, where he mails you a different powdercoated one and you mail him your old stock one.

The spark plug covers are $50 uncoated. $65 powdercoated any single color. + s/h.

Anyone have a DIY for removing this and reinstalling this? I want mine done but afraid to remove it and reinstall it.

I wanted it powdercoated, but it was too long to fit in their oven.

 

How is that plastic cooling plate holding up ? (it's plastic right ?) I remember it was warping on people.
