me, no? i decided not to do a retro on the 08's since it wont look custom. Just swap out the projectors and you wont really notice the difference of course untill you fire them up. Yea its the easier way because no shroud is involved but im glad i went with the 05-07 and using a shroud. looks cleaner. but here's some pics of Lightwerkz doing some retros on 08 housings...

i dont think you have to, but i bought all my parts to save some money. I wanted an almost brand new set of headlights and I originally bought a set off of here from a member (wont say their name) claiming to be in good clean condition. only to get them with the lense scratched and pits all over the lense. they wouldnt refund the money back, so i sold them and lost about $20 on the deal. 2nd time i bought another set on here claiming to be the same, once i get them one of the tabs was broken and the repair job was crappy and on the other headlight, it was a different brand? Sold them back on here and lost another $10-15? FINALLY got a MINT set on ebay that he just bought the tC and swapped them out for ebay projectors and got them for about $150 shipped! If your patient enough, you can find some good deals, just have to becarefull. for me buying my parts i probally saved about $2-300? HIDPlanet.com/forums is another good place to look for parts or some sellers on ebay.

The bulbs had very little hours of use on them as did the ballast. i got some good deals on these parts. You just have to know where and when to buy them.

mostly HIDPlanet.com/forums and eBay are the best places. if you have local junkyards you can check there for ballast, projectors and bulbs. but you need to know what cars to look for and they might hike up the price? projectors can vary from $100-450/set, ballast are normally $125-200/set. it just depends on what projectors, ballast, bulbs, shrouds, ect exactly you want?

Yanki i got a question. on their website the prices say for example $625 including labor, projectors and E46 shrouds, so whats not included ? HID bulbs, ballast and wiring ?

can you PM parts that i will need ?
I sent them an email asking few questions, i'm really thinking about doing this after i get back from texas to NY but i think i have to start before i get back, lol since i would like to just come and pop them in with the rest of the stuff.

ive adjusted it since i took the pic, its a little higher than that but still pointed downwards. thats the way it should be not straight or you'll blind people are you get farther away.
