Unless you go a "special" inspection station where they "overlook" things for a 20.

Projectors are made with cutoff shields for a reason, and the fact that the cutoff lines aren't parallel to the ground only backs up the fact that this company just threw them together without paying much attention.

I'm just glad that I dont drive near people who I know, and they have purposely mis-mounted headlight fittings.

hmm.. well i still have my old headlights. Beside I dont plan on keeping this crap for a long time.

well that DOT thing. It actually written on the headlight itself. Ionno though.

I seem to fix the cut off. yet i have a beam problem. one beam is a bit higher than the other yet the cut off are leveled. I'll try to get pic later on. i will be fixing that problem WHEN i have the time. today i just went and twists this and that and try to make the car driveable. which it is.

so when i have time to retake the whole bumper off again and reconfigure i will.. till now atleast everyone knows how they look like and all.

Like i said in the beginning it was all curious why i bought this. and yes i am happy i did. But dont be planning on staying with this.. nor my tc-.- hehe...

So please lets stop hating on products that comes out for our car. Be happy we have more options than before. =] i know i had some negative comments and such(not just here in this forum but somewhere else) but it's all good. But for others i thank you for support. It's all up to you guys now if you want this item or not.

my project for this week is done...

well any one can put that on there... they can be in series trouble if it is a lie and DOT finds out that they put 'DOT Approved' On the product.

Each state might have a standard , but i know blue and read lights on the headlamp is not legal in any states (used for authorities obviously)

you can always email the picture, link, etc to your state DOT and see what they say

all of you are bagging on these headlights. these are the first aftermarket headlights for the vehicle, i think it was a good attempt and they have a decent look to them. i understand alot of you are big on hid's so on so forth, but if your concerned with dot legal if you put hid's in a care that does not come with them factory, they are illegal in most states. On top of that imo these headlights look nice. grant it they might have issues lining up, but keep in mind, you dont know this kids ability to install headlights or anything for that matter. i had the toughest time installing projectors in my silverado, took me days to line them up, but now i know how.. my concensus, A+ for effort.. As far as the hid perspective, lets be real, do you need hid's. no.. yes they look nice, but i dont see the point. your headlights produce enough light as it is, you dont need to see 5 city blocks ahead of you. and the cost. 300 dollars for a decent set of BULBS and BALLASTS. your joking right? people who buy these are out of their minds. as far as getting the blue effect in the headlights, its simple, import lights from japan. their 9005 and 9006's have blue tinted (that maintain the blue or white color for a long time). i had the same bulbs in my chevy extreme that i put in my tc and i still get questioned as to whether they are hid's.

And for the people commenting on ebay merchandise, guess what, some of your favorite items are sold on ebay, INCLUDING THE TC'S YOU DRIVE. so just because they are listed on ebay doesnt make them crap, distributors send them out and the people who decide to sell them either sell them at their shop or on ebay. no quality difference.

if you have the money to spend, obviously retro is the way to go, then you can design them to be 100 percent original. but unfortunately most people who drive tC's are rolling in dollars (or they wouldnt drive a tC to start with). im not buying my headlights yet, unless this money keep sburning a hole in my pocket, but when i get back from my 6month hopefully umnitza will get their heads out of their rears and put some competition on the market. im glad they stepped up and made a list and all, and havnt delivered 1 thing that was said. here i will start a list, im making custom altezzas, i need 100 people to send me money lol.. give me a break, if your a major company you dont need a trial run pre payment. very sad. so for that matter im burned out waiting on them to deliver their rendition of aftermarket headlights.
