thats because the first poster works for the company and was posing as a person that was really excited to get the headlights (to promote the product)

This would also explain why the first poster made the exact same first post VERBATIM in every other Scion forum I am a member of.

the first poster said they were HIDs in them, and the pics are on page 5 as you've already seen. hot spots galore.

you have to take into account that the lens is not positioned properly, so the light might be spread evenly if the lenses are rotated how they should be.

And even if the cutoff isnt horizontal as it should be, the cutoff seems very sharp, and should be easy to fix by rotating the lense.

you can adjust the rotation but cannot fix how well the projector spreads out the light

well, if you look @ page 5 .. his lights are not straight. if you striaghten out the lights, i think the middle where the light gap will be filled in even.

i'm not exactly sure what part of the lights you are talking about but if you look @ maximus96's lights, they kinda fade out near the edges too (if you're not talkin about that part .. then nvm :X

i was talking about the hot spots....compare them. you will still blind ppl with those projectors as compared to maximus's where his light is evenly distributed THROUGHOUT

well. idunno, i might not know anything cuz i personally dont own either projectors. but the reason why i think it will be fine is that if you look @ the vertex guy's lights, he is beaming them really really really close compaired to max's where he is further away.

but i totally agree w/ you on max's lights where they are totally even throughout

yes but see.. this is what people are jumping in to now... yes there is a hot spot when you are close..

TRUST me on this... I Tried this before being far away from my car and even driving front of it and opposite of it.. I didnt get any glare or i didnt get blinded. The hotspots DOES show up when you are REALLY close to the wall.. I am still trying to perfect my aligns right now. Yesterday i aimed them too low lol..

The only way you will be blinded by these headlights is if you actually try to blind yourself. Come on now you'll be speeding thru or pass by and you wont get blinded. unless you go close to my car and stare at the bulb or projector. thats a different story. I'm gonna make a video to show you guys...

This is why i cant wait to get my replacement HID bulb...

now where was i...

oh ilovemytc... thanks for adding me =] and yes lets call them ebay lights.. seriously i dont know the name of this headlight...

the "i've seen them with hids and the hot spots are even worse" part from brian, he is referring to seeing the pictures on page 5 with the HIDs from the Vertex guy
