How dare you speak of the Civic in the presence of Scion... just kidding man,

I'm sorry you keep having such bad luck with you BCP! Maybe try parking in the middle of nowhere and no one will have a reason to hit you (or park near you for that matter, lol)...

speaking of losing money, make sure your insurance company also cuts you a big check for the loss in value since it will have a wreck on its title....they wont mention it right away so be sure to ask..!..

seriously, there is no such thing as luck, just probability taken personally. even if you get a new car, it will get hit just as often as the one you have now.

just park as far away from people as you can, and try to find spaces where people won't have to back out of their spots towards your car.

ask, my mom's altima was almost totaled and so it went from a 16k$ to like a 8k$ car after repair and Allstate made up the for the loss in value on top of repair... insurance companies have different policies for different states, but it will never hurt to ask.

the appraiser tipped us off about it. our agent probably wouldnt have told us if we hadn't asked about it.

has anyone else claimed this before?

Yes on my xb and my tc

You can request Dimished value on just about any type of accident and damage.

Most states the insurance company is not required to tell you but they have to pay you. Just need to check with local insurance laws and your companies regulations

For example. The last accident cuased about $600 in damage to my bumper/supports in the back to fix. Even though its fixed and good is new there is still a diminihed value if I tried to sell the tC even though in my case its not much about $70

Where the hell are you parking your car?! In all seriousness, I lived in Wichita for 8 years and spend about 4 or 5 weeks a year there ever since, it's not like there's a lack of parking space like here in L.A. Are you parking on the street (and why are you if you are)? Is there not enough space in your apartment complex for cars to safely back out?

i was in a parking lot at least 3 or 4 cars away from anyone, and the first time i was on the street... not a busy one, and that was the only place that i could park...

my car has been hit twice in about 3 months...
once a girl trying to park took the turn too fast and hit my bumper...
sencond a drunk driver reversed into my car at full speed with his Chevy 2500 pickup.
the second one sounds like the same area as urs..

I think its scions in general. I was in an empty dominos parking lot and some chick still backed into my front driver side bumper. I had enough time to look up at the sound and see her drive off. Left a nice volley ball size dent in it. I popped it out and its not really noticeable, but i know its there and it bothers me all the time.
