Default 2007 Scion TC Special Edition TYC Rear Light to Regular OEM Lights HELP

I have the LED tyc's on my 07 tc special edition and I want to convert back to the OEM halogen tail lights as one of them went out, and they are nearly impossible to find at this point. Will I need a harness for the halogen OEM taillights? Any recommendations or links for what to buy? Thanks so much.

Not sure if '08 will help but here goes:

Here's the lens.

Here's the OEM running light/ brake light combination bulb and socket:

And here's the OEM reverse light bulb and socket:

As for whether you'll need harnesses, it will depend on how the aftermarket LED lenses were connected.

The car never had aftermarket LED lenses. They are OEM LED. This is a special edition scion tc. Only 1500 were made.

Same situation. If you want to run halogen bulbs, you'll need corresponding sockets and lenses.

My stock halogen bulbs are almost 16 years old. LEDs should last a lot longer than incandescent bulbs. Have you tried cleaning socket connectors and or testing the cable for continuity? Maybe a blown fuse?

I want to buy the correct lens and wiring harness to connect to the appropriate OEM LED connectors. Dealer wants $350+ for one rear led light with no date on potential delivery. I can't wait for months, and halogen rear lights are as cheap as $100 for each and available immediately.

The seal is broken and water got into the rear light and most likely fried the led bulbs. It's too expensive and too long of a wait for a replacement. I am hoping I could just swap out with regular halogen lights instead.

I wouldn't imagine Toyota would redesign the harnesses just for a limited edition tail light configuration. If the factory lights you have aren't directly pnp then they would have used harness adapters. Would be 99% sure you can just grab whatever oem tails you want for the 1g and they will plug right in. The black 08+ ones look the best IMO.

There are two OEMs for the 1G. Halogen and limited edition LED. Neither halogen bulbs nor halogen lenses fit the OP's OEM LED socket(s). That's why Toyota wants $350 to bridge the two.

I understand this. But it seems crazy to think they would completely rewire a car as cookie cutter and as simple as the tC just to change its tail light design, especially for such a limited run of these. In this scenario with any other vehicle the base vehicle is the same but there is a harness adapter used to connect the new circuitry from the different light.

OP pop out a tail light and see what you got back there.

Most likely? Did you check the fuse?

The fact Toyota wants $350+ suggests there is no plug n play "swap" or adapter, etc. Worse case, you might have to cut and splice halogen sockets to your existing LED harness. Then you'd need a halogen lens to match the halogen sockets.
