Thanks to Josh and Ken for the quick ship/price on these bad boys... I should have them in tonight with an 8k H11 HID setup as well... good looking out for us.. now the question.. do I bake them open and swap out a clear sidemarker? or just leave it

 

just leave it, you know you are anxious to put them in and take pictures.

Yeah the price is still $199 each.

 

I'd suggest 5k HID bulbs myself. Anything higher and the projector seems to exaggerate the blue color too much.

 

shoot! I just ordered 6000k yesterday, I hope they are not too blue...

I just installed my 08 headlights with some 4300k hids over the weekend and i'm loving them! Thanks josh n trd sparks! i bent down the metal tab for the squirrel spotters and got a pretty decent cutoff. There's still a little bit of glare but when i drove behind my friend he didn't notice any glare.






my driveway is kinda slanted but i think u get the idea.
The projectors do make the hids seem bluer and my camera made it even more blue.

 

dang 4300k looks pretty bluish already... I hope my 6000k won't look too blue.. Anyway nice pix DerK!

 

why do they look crooked, is it the drive way?

 

so is there a halo kit for them or do i have to call oznium and have them make me some if i get these?

 

6000k shouldn't be too blue - remember that photos have a funny way of color correcting sometimes. Above 6000k i'd agree, but I think 6000k is a very white look - it's also the factory temp of many higher end applications.

Thanks for the pics with the tabs bent down. I don't want to go the JB Weld route, but I don't want to blind people - that seems to be a pretty good middle ground.

If you want halo's they'll have to be custom. This is an OEM part.

 

yes Derk, can you turn off the fogs so we can see how the bottom portion of the light fills out?

 

OEM temp for HIDs if 4300k, not 6000k. I have 6000k and when comparing it to other OEM HID projectors on other cars, it looks much more blue. 4300k - 5000k would look better IMO.
