My friend had a 9k hid kit b4 and one of the bulbs burned out so she got 20k bulbs. Turns out to be super blue and she shut me up after i was argueing that theres no such thing as 20k and gets purple at 12k.



yes i know these pictures are crappy but proof that 20k exists.
She has had this set up for 2 weeks now and passed couple of cops and never got pulled over. IDK y is it legal to drive with almost completly blue headlights but illegal to drive with my blue underglow on.
The lights do look hot but arent as bright as the past 9k bulbs
(I dont know where she gets these weird kits, friends friend)

 

never knew there's such a thing like 20k hid. but I think it's pretty pointless. Cops will get her soon.

 

Yea pure blues atract so much attention and they dont even light up the road. I saw an SUV with like some 10k ones they barely even lit the road.

 

yup me 2, i tell her everyday that cops will get her but its in one ear out the other. Im still debating on 6k hid and 8k, i want it blue but not "Hey look im a 19yr old young driver, shoot your radar gun at me and pull me over "

 

Ive got 8k im very happy with them its not pure blue. Havent been stopped here in socal.

how do u know its 20k? does it say 20 K on the bulb or just the box?

 

they advertise 20k on ebay. and img not sure if it says on the bulb or box, i didnt install it

You trust ebay for that info? Those merchants will say anything to sell you crap. Would you buy a cheap $20 muffler if it said TOYOTA SCION TC JDM SUPRA SE-R J-SPEC VTEC GT-R +50 HP UNIVERSAL MUFFLER?

Most of the time those ebay sellers dont know what the hell they are selling.

 

yea true but they are really really blue, ive seen 8k 9k and nothing is as blue as these

I thought about upgrading my lights but them I thought if everyone is upgrading thier lights I will keep mine stock...then eventually I'LL BE DIFFERENT!

Yeah, true. I was thinking though.....20k would be more towards UV...so we could try and go 30K and see if we can just go straight black out......ooooohhhhh now THAT would be interesting!

Mine are Just as blue as those and i doubt that its 20k. not sure what mine are but there just as blue
