Default is 300 fogs on tc

can any one post up some pictures or directions on how they installed it? I just bought a pair, but need a lil help in what I must to do because I never worked on fog lamps or any electrical dealing with lights before,...

I was told to use a heat gun then insert it?? What precuations should I take when installing these fogs?

I didn't know anyone actually installed those on a tC? are you talking about the APT/VRD fogs? or the ebay "JDM" fogs?

Supposedly they fit when installed upside down, and since they're projectors, they don't function properly when upside down,

most of the people that installed them also took apart the assemblies and flipped the projectors over.

I figured that they would, for the most part, but you're missing the point that the OP doesn't even know how to install them.

search. its been discused many times in the past.

the vents pretty much need to be cut off, the projectors have to be taken apart and flipped. and you need to fabricate brackets and waht not to hold them. its a lot of work and thats why not a lot of people have them.

Those look absolutely terrible.

OP. Just sell them and get VRD/APT fogs. Save yourself the trouble.

They just don't look like they fit. Everyone says they're a 'perfect' fit, but it looks like there is a gap on BOTH sides of the fogs.

this mod was done by people wayyyy back then before the apt/vrd ones came out... fyi..

it was a decent install.. while it lasted..

have you seen them on a is300.. theres a gap on those too..

yea people did this a long time ago and i think the vrds are nicer, unless you retro the projector into the vrds... hmm

The gap on the IS300 is only on the inside of the fog. Look at them closely on the BSP tC. The driver side has a noticeable gap in the first pic, and the passenger side looks like it has a gap on the outside (corner is too sharp).

I'm just saying that they're not as perfect of a fit as people are making them out to be.

They look better with the mold, but they still look out of place. It's like those knock-off VRD/APT fogs...the ones that go flush with the bumper.
