Nice choice. That's what I have, but tint isn't legal here in NJ on the front windows. I've only been asked about it once since I've owned the car, so it works out.

 

I rock 3m carbon film 5% side windows back three doubled up 5%

windshield 50% carbon film with 5% strip..


Sunroof has 5% HP

damn haha how is it at night time? At 20% I can still see everything fine. Just wondering if that limo-look tint affects any visibility

 

LOL. yea man at nights even the day its tuff to see out of! I do it mostly for heat though! its gets so dam hot down here in florida!

Where u get the tint done at? I'm in sf also. Dont know bout tinting them front door windows for fear of ticket.

 

Mine was lazered at 2.5% all the way around including windshield....

very true. chances of hitting a pedestrian kina increased like 10 fold.

 

I had my 15% tint all around for 2 years, then a cop cited me for the tint so I got them removed. A few days later my car gets hit by another car... so IMO, no tint = x10 likely to get into an accident. lol

35% is perfect for CA drivers. Just enough tint to cool the interior and for the cops to not give a second look. But then again, SF isn't exactly a place where light shines bright. lol

lol yea. When I got pulled over for my 20% tints, he measured it at 16%. Might be the dirt on the windows

Was your tints 5%? And you tinted the windshield too? Man that would stick out like a sore thumb on a CSM lol

 

Stock tint is 70% so it makes the tint alittle bit darker. My 20% came out to 18%

 

It's all about the 5% baby. And as far as night time goes, there's a reason you got two auto-press window switches!
