That looks like a whole lotta glare!

 

It is my camera. Almost no glare on the road or on the vehicle in front of me. I have to get a digital camcorder

 

Nice....do u have blue parking lights? Or are my eyes deceiving me?

They are blue but burn white.

and it is! im glad you didnt get an 8k which is a lot of blue but still alot of glare going on.

 

Yeah, like I said.....I don't have the best camera inn the world and I was holding it in hand. Some of the xmas lights look like they have glare too but it's pretty blurry. In person, they are nice and bright but no annoying reflective glare. No one flashed their lights at me tonight and I have the left light angled down about 1.5 inches lower than stock so no chance of oncoming blinding glare

Oh well, they are definately a huge difference from standard halogen and they look amazing in person

 

even lowering the beam still producres glare in stock housing that are made for halogens.

What HID are they?

 

This is why I hate California
If I was caught with those id be dead in no time
especially in my neighborhood
...cops hate anything that moves since its so calm around our neighborhood

 

Yeah thats why I am afraid of putting HID's to my car afraid law sucks at CAL

It took me forever trying to take that top grille out. Damn black screws are hard to see when you don't turn the over head lights on. Where'd you end up mounting the ballasts? I wanted them to stay cool so right behind the front bumper was the best spot for me without having to take the fenders off and mounting in there.

Yeah, I realize that and that's why I said there's almost no glare. If I were to raise that light right back to stock level, I would get flashed by every car coming. But, I was able to direct most of that glare on the ground and it works in my advantage b/c it spreads across the ground giving me more visible road
