Does anyone know if the 5 axis front lip actually lessens the clearance like the rs1 lip?

i was told that the OEM ground effects doesnt lower clearance and wanted to know if the 5axis does. id rather have more clearance lol.

im debating between 5axis vs OEM ground effects

 

go five axis. The front lip doesn't lower the lines enough to tell.

 

only the sides and back seem to be lower......the front really just extends the center out and the sides out but not really down.

from your experience, was it any harder to drive with the 5axis front lip. cuz i know from my experience, the rs1 front lip gave me a hard time driving (i had to always snake speed bumps and entrances taking up all the space)

 

i have the RS1 front but my friend Breaux_tC has the 5 axis front and i don't think he has nearly as much problem as i do. the RS1 front comes down like another 1/2" to an 1". The 5 axis just comes straight out and not so much down really.

 

wuts your friend lowered on? and if he has rims ?

im lowered on basics almost max drop and I dont have a problem clearing driveways and speedbumps, you think the 5axis will be more driveable than the OEM front lip?

 

he is lowered on hotchikis springs and stock wheels and tires. I think the 5 axis front would be just the same as the GFX kit. But would look better just by itself than the GFX kit would.

 

FIVEaxis front lip will scrape where the lip folds back

The bottom of the RS1 lip is flat so it looks like this ____

ultimately depends on what you're lowered on as well

 

so what if Im lowered on tein basics around 2.5-2.6 inch drop in the front. will that scrape speed bumps and entrances? cuz as of now w/o a front lip, I am able to clear

 

also, so your saying that OEM ground effects is better driveability wise than the 5axis?

 

Just learn to angle, OEM ground effects will scrape just as much as FIVEaxis if not more, you're better off getting the FIVEaxis front. I've got about 3" of ground clearance up front, I scrape occasionally, but its the name of the game if you wanna go low.

ps. in the 1st picture, don't mind how it looks like something is peeling under the lip, I had the lip clear bra'd and when I used to scrape it would sometimes scrape up the clear bra, I've cleaned it up since the picture =]

Does anyone have just the front 5axis lip and thats it? I wanted to know if it looks good without the side skirts and stuff or does it look like it needs the rest of the lip kit and uneven.

i agree..no one has really dont 5axis front, OEM ground effects sides and rear so thats what I'm about to do.
