Finally got my kit and installed it best mod ever! :D Finally my blue lightning. One question guys for the ones who have HID's my bulbs seem to shake a little when I am going on very bumpy road anyone have this???

Cut off DOES look good from what I can tell . I take it that all you did was install ? Stock reflector housing with no adjustment ? And are your ballasts metal ?

that cutoff is the same cutoff you have, just more glare.

Pardon me . My mistake . The question should be ; Is the glare bad and obvious or is glare kept to a minimum ? Many have said here that certain HID kits have less glare than others . Could be due to a shield the some of the kits use on the bulbs .

Don't worry about the glare haters. It's the same peeps that think every OEM HID install is projector.

Adjust the beam lower and you'll be fine. HIDs produce more light in the same exact area as halogen. So if you aim your beam down, you'll also aim down the cutoff.

 

Thanks my friend . Kinda what i thought . Very cool . Because the ballasts seem to die within a couple of years , I am wondering if the lifetime warranty of Prolumens are worth it . I think they run about $ 275 . Choices choices

Ballasts are made of metal there pretty solid, didnt adjust probably will if a get flashed or anything. Got them for 175 shipped. I drove arround a bit seems no glare to me ill probably will point them down just in case. I got 1 year warranty but seems the seller extended them to me because he was busy, and took a little longer to ship. I hope I dont have any trouble pics show off a lot of blue Its actually not to white and not to blue.

 

8K is gonna be blue . 6K is as far as I want to go . Great out put and SLIGHT hint of blue . 8K may be more " glarish " due to people having an eye problem with blue . Sweet look though

Oh my bad it looks like glare but I have a ramp on my garage so the pics that were taken were a bit higher than the level of the street hope that clears off the thoughts of glare.
