I'm planning to install my front lip soon. Does anyone know how to mount it?

2 screws on each side in the fender well. Double sided tape on the pockets it leaves around the front bumper.

 

Did you have to cut anything? Because the bottom top part of the lip is being blocked by the bottom grill.

 

Yea I had to trim that part. Did you try stuffing it under the bottom grill piece? I didnt try.

 

I was thinking about that too, but I'm not sure the if the grill would hold because I would have to unclip the bottom part.

 

I stuffed mine under the lower grill. It was pain in the butt, but i had removed only one of the guards under the car.

 

Got pics? I tried that before finally cutting it instead, left too many gaps.
I guess it could work better if they used an aftermarket grill like the RS clones.

 

About how much did you cut?

 

i cut about 1/4 of an inch off of it. Dremel all the way across.

 

So 2 screws is strong enough to hold the lip?

 

yea, and put some double sided tape on inside of the front lip in a few spots, to keep it from moving around. Its easy.

yours fit alot better then mine

 

well i placed 3m heavy duty double sided tape all around so it leaves no gaps and doesnt scratch my bumper. now i'm planning on getting the OEM rear lip and i havnt picked side skirts. I havnt seen any good or any that i like or that could go with the front lip.

I wanna get the OEM rear lip, the ABS lip doesnt quite do it for me.

 

the rs1 rear lip is too simple. i like the OEM better. i done like the OEM side skirts i most like buy the rs1 ones.

 

going to install mine soon...i got mine aff a guy from ebay and there is soo many marks on it...i am sooo ____ed!!

 

thats how all of hte lips are, not only yours. it is from the shipping process.

i buy my lips from a local store, that way i can choose the least scratched up lip.
