what are good/safe adhesives to use on the exterior?

 

what for? try using just rubbing alcohol with some cotten *****. that worked best for me when i removed my rear emblem.

 

Really depends on what you mean by "safe" and where/what you're trying to adhere. If you state what it is you're trying to accomplish, then anyone who's done the same thing could tell you what adhesive they used.

 

i just removed my rear scion emblem and trying to replace it with a black/silver transformer emblem. just wanted to know what would be best to adhere there and sustain adhesion to the elements.

 

Gorilla Glue?

 

3M double-sided mounting tape.

like the same stuff that they use for the emblems...
