Any one know anything about these?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Scion...55234251QQrdZ1

just curious, but don't those lights stay on when the headlights come on? I like the look, but still want to try to stay somewhat legal.

Also someone said the heat of the head lights will cause LED's to melt, would this be the case?
Thanx in advance

Yes... those lights are on anytime any of your lights are on (parking lights or headlights or even highbeams).

But there are many people running colored bulbs in there, I doubt it's much of a big deal. Worst case you would get a fix-it-ticket. Where you just have to remove them and then prove to the cop it's fixed.

Hard to say for sure. Some companies recommend not putting them in the headlight housing because it will decrease the life of the bulb, but I really don't know for sure if they would die soon or if the life is just shortened a little...
