Default Is aftermarket car cover good for Scion tc

This is my first time considering to buy the aftermarket car cover for my scion tc since it is a lot cheaper than the one from Scion. Usually the aftermarket one doesn't have the license plate cut open, just want to know if it is legal to park the car on the street with no VIN# and license plate available in case if the police wants to see it or gives a ticket. I am afraid that my car will be towed away or get any tickets because I don't have my license plate or VIN# visible to them.. Any suggestions will help. Thanks!

If the police want to see it, they'll lift the cover.

The OEM cover is not all that great for outdoor use as it not good in wet weather

Go with coverking :D

I believe it's state law that you either have to have the rear license plate displayed, or have the plate number displayed on the cover in large dark letters if you park on the street.

Oh didn't read that in his post. Yeah, in a parking lot you're fine. On the street you need to display. However, parking on a street with a carcover is just ASKING for trouble (from vandals)
