I don't know maybe my search feature isn't working because I know there are people on this forum that have done this mod. I also can't beleive there isn't anything in the tech section. So don't flame me, I did search. Anyway, I know the tC is already wired for foglights. I was wondering if anyone has done or can do a write up or point me to a link that describes how to use the prewiring to hook up aftermarket foglights. While doing my retro I saw the connector for the factory fogs infront of the driverside wheel well. Do people just splice there wires into this connector?

If this is not possible, does anyone have a writeup for aftermarket fog installation? Also, those of you with aftermarket fogs, do they turn off with the other lights when you open the door after removing the key, or do you have to flip the switch every time you want to turn them off or on?

A quick response from anyone that knows anything about installing fogs would be appreciated ASAP. I would like to get started tonight if possible. Thanx in advance.

I didnt splice the wire. I just stripped the wire from the relay and stuck it into the stock harness, and taped it. Works fine.
