Default ahh! need help again! Projector headlight problem

I seem to have the worst luck. I installed these projector headlights and they work perfect except when it rains they fog up. I did my best to seal any imperfections and spray water on them to see if there are any more gaps and find nothing.but like today when ever it rains i find my light fogged up again and again can anyone lend me some advice. I'm so frustrated right now.

hey...i have aftermarket projectors as well...make sure that the rubber things that cover the bulb openings are sealed and also that all your bulbs are in there tightly....also try baking open your headlight and resealing it

good luck!

Theres your answer, your going for cheap ebay headlights. You really get what you pay for. Fogging up and burnt LED's are standard on aftermarket headlights. Get the 08's or get a retrofit done, either way will look better and function ALOT better. For the money you have spent trying to get these to work right or find ones that will work how you want them to, you could have gotten something alot better.

didn't wanna go ebay but that was the only way i could find theses exact lights plus i hate what toyota did with the 08 scion so i took another gamble with ebay i already made sure everything is sealed including the rubber seals infact i just did a test to see if my stock headlights had any imperfections and it did thats when i notice similar gaps at the bottom of my after market lights so ima reseal it again with some poxy i have laying around i think that mighty help. thats the only obvious thing i can still find as a problem. one thing to note is that the more i seal the less moisture gets in and evaporates faster.
as soon as the rain stop I'll try again. and hopefully work this time

you could also open them up and tape in a few Silica packets inside the assembly to absorb moisture

It doesn't matter what you do - buy them on ebay or not, seal them or not, selica pack or not, it will still fog. I've worked with aftermarket headlights in the past, they're hopeless. Just dispose of them and go stock or retro.
