there u is a water catch on the underside of the hood. i believe it is detachable, so if it might rain you can just put it on.

My rainguard is leaking water down to my k&n intake. why is that? I keep taking the rainguard off and putting it on. Dam socal weather, it rains randomly sometimes.

the seals are probably not that good. i say fab up a drain hose and route it to the front of the hood so that water would flow forward and down to the front of the radiator when the car is sitting still. the hose can be as small as the water hose used for the windshield washer hoses.

just a suggestion.

Default driving in the rain

Well with our Scion tC, when driving in the rain, we didn't use the rain guard. From what I could see everything was fine. Yet we will look into to why the run off is going towards the intake area.

i think i saw your car at the parking garage last week at west covina mall. lot's of tCs there, but yours stood out with that hood, lenses, drop, and splitter. nice tC in person.

i go to cal poly btw. i could easily mistake you for a similar white tC driving around temple/amar with the same setup (but without the splitter and black lenses). let's just say i'm not particularly fond of that driver with the way he drives around cal poly grounds and from what i heard from other scionlife/calpoly members in here.

I was at the 3rd floor structure waiting for class and I saw a white tc with stickers and cf hood driving toward the parking lot. I think he was dropping off his friend. Then he drove around in circles in the parking lot and stop to look at my car then he speed off like an idiot. oh well, i guess he wanted to show off all his stickers.

I went last wednesday but cant tomorrow. I have to go to Disneyland with my girlfriend. Because I bought some Disneyland tickets long time ago and it expires this thursday, can’t let it go to waste. I will be there next wednesday.
