Default For all you HID Buffs. Pics inside!

So I just installed the high beam hid's, the fog lights, and the grills this week. When I detail my car again I will take better pics of it. Tell me what you think.

Lol ok just a few of the car to start out... here it goes!

No, the fog lights do not have Hid's in them... yet. Im going to buy another set (3800K yellow) for the foglights within the next few weeks. Hope u guys enjoy!

My friend owns his own company so I get mine through him... not as cheap as I've seen some kits on here but I help support his business so its all good.

Well I bought the hid kits for 140 a piece. I got the vrd foglights and and the vrd grills for about 315-325, and all installation was free (cuz I did it... lmao )

That's a good price, plus you did your own installation so you saved money on that. Sorry to get off topic but I see that you have a Skunk2 exhaust how is it and what is the diameter of the pipes?

Its all good. I love my exhaust. It sounds sooooo good! I've had it probably over a year and I still roll the windows down in tunnels and freeway underpasses just to hear it... haha! I think the piping is 60mm diameter with 100mm tip. It looks sweet cuz its not to big. I would reccomend installing an spipe with it, makes installation A LOT easier. overall it was pretty easy to install though. It is a little pricey compared to some... but I would buy one again if I had to.

^Nice I been wanted that Exhaust for the longest, it was just to pricey for me at the time. I definitely need a full cat-back exhaust for the summer though I might reconsider this one its nice! I'm lovin your car man good job!

Car looks great..........just so you know.........if your silicone hoses leak take them off and put Black RTV gasket maker on the piping from the motor, the metal parts.......not the hose........let it skin over for 30 minutes and then put the hoses back on........and clamp down while engine is cold.........

Mine kept seeping by and drove me nutty reistalled withthe RTV and it has not leaked one drop.........

The radiator hoses are samco... I've had a little problem with them leaking but I just tightened them up a little and theyre doing fine. I dont have any cutoff wall shots... mostly because the cutoff on these headlights suck. it looks like someone was trying to draw and nice straight line and then got bumped into... lmao. Its ok though I'll probably eventually bake em and fit it. As for the grills they fit exactly like oem and they are awesome. I installed them literally in 5 minutes (ten if you count the bumper removal). And like I said... the exhaust is sick. plain and simple.

Why would you install HID in high beam? You use high beam mainly to flash and usually for short time so flashing the HID would kill the ballast. Unless you use your high beam all the time then HID are good for them. I just have 6000K in my low beam and Nokya Yellow on my high

Hmm... can you take a picture without the halos on? I'd like to see how authentic the look is. I bought my HID's from Mobile HID, and they are the real thing. But so far so good from these shots.
