It's cool that your dad has the ability to make something like that and help to save your bumper... but uh, that exhaust looks disgusting IMO. It really is just gigantic.

Welcome to the internet.

No, really though, it's cool if you're happy with it. It's your car.

It's just not a look that I like at all. Overly large mufflers/tips just make me think rice (not that yours is) b/c one of the first things many ricers will do is run and get some $30 huge canister muffler from Autozone or wherever. I like to think of them as grapefruit shooters, b/c you can usually fit a grapefruit in there.

Ok, sorry. Not trying to rag on you, just explaining my thoughts.

It serves its purpose, but deffinetly is not that good looking.
If he can make stuff, I suggest having him make a piece that goes on the actual bumper. Alot of cars have a ring that goes around the exhuast cutput to protect it.

And like someone said, its not bashing, its just opinion. And in person most people wont give a true opinion.

Yeah, it's a little chubby for my tastes, BUT as long as you like it that's all that should matter!!

P.S. Why 'white out' your plate in pic #3 when we all can see it plain as day in pic #2?

OK here is my little bracket to protect from melting my bumper.
just a thin long piece of bendable steel, bolted into a part of the bumper safely and secure. then bent the other end to fit around the lip and set the exhaust just away from the bumper. this is SIMPLE, and FREE if you find the steel.
it can NOT be seen unless you get on hands and knees to look at exhaust.
any questions...let me know.

1st. the outside shot. you can see the steel bend around the corner and set the exhaust off the plastic.

2nd...from under the bumper. you see the exhaust on the left and the long steel bracket goin from the exhaust section to under the back bumper

What?!

what makes you think that the heat from the exhaust isnt gonna cook that resin in the Carbonfiber cover and turn it a ugly yellow and then just look like crap.

the Tsudo exhaust comes out the back at an Angle. not straight out like the pic on that sale.

you could get the CF exhaust cover to hid what is behind there and already melted but its not gonna stop your problem.
