Default any experiences with ebay factory style spoiler?

I was considering one of the ebay factory style spoilers,
though there are several sellers, I dont know which one actually does a good paint job.

I dont want to drill holes so thats why I want the ebay ones.

also in regards to the m3 lip spoiler,
there are many different spoilers offered on ebay but I guess the difference in paint quality, any recommendations would be welcomed.

The only ones that doesn't require you to drill holes would be the M3 ones. Any spoiler that stands off the trunk would require drilling, factory or not.

the factory style ones do not use holes, it looks like factory lip but uses tape.

anyone with these lip spoilers, m3 or ebay factory style,

can you post pics of the quality?

M3-style from ScionXFactor:

Perfect color match; I've had it for over a year and it looks just as good as when it was installed.

can I see a full car pic of it and side profile full car pic?

i like the spoiler, but i dont know how well it will match the styling with oem lip kit.

I also find it very difficult for me to pay the price tag for the spoiler. I keep telling myself I want the spoiler but can't help but feel that price a bit high for the small lip piece.

thanks!

I think I may be siding with the oem style more, a little less conservative.

has anyone bought from the spoiler store, how was their paint job?

hows the paint job on the scionxfactor lip?

got any more far away pics? Im still sitting on the fence about this.

at first I wanted the viniati or kaminari, but now I think I want something smaller.

When it comes to stuff like this, the quality is a toss up when an item from ebay or a website has the word "style" in it. It means its not OEM quality, its a cheap knock-off or replica.

TRDSparks.com is where your gonna find the real OEM stuff at the best price.

Are you refering to the M3 spoiler? I thought those sold for less than $80 prepainted.

yes.

I consider the price expensive for what it is. after state taxes and shipping, brings it to about $80 ish.

the oem factory style lip is not much more, but IMO looks a bit more noticeable and would flow better with the oem gfx?

'thecarcandystore' sounds cheeseball, but my paint matches great and im happy with the purchase. they had prompt emails and tracking info, i forget the ladies name whom i corresponded with, but she was really nice.

I was sitting on the fence with this and it was a difficult decision for me here are some factors that helped me decide on what spoiler I wanted..

viniati - I love the look, but I wanted something more conservative a low key

kaminari - I like this because you can see the tbl easier but it was also a bit too much for what I was looking for. IMO matches the tc even better than viniati, getting it painted and installed would cost more than I could afford.

ebay factory spoiler - prepainted and matches oem gfx perfectly but.. everyone has this and every has seen this.

scionxfactor m3 - not sure how well it will go with gfx, but from careful consideration I think it would accent the tc and gfx very nicely. The tbl would be in full view but downside is that its a bit pricier than I thought it would be.

But in the end... I dont know anyone personally that has the m3 lip on their tc and I have yet to see a tc rolling around my area with one. Other users seem to love it, and from the pics it looks like a top quality paint job, comparable to oem factory.

so I went with the scion x factor lip. Did I make the right choice? Placed an order for it tonight and I hope I get it by the end of the week.

when the new grill and lip arrive, along with me newly installed tbl, Ill will definately detail the car and have a photoshoot.

yay

that guy also has an old pic of my car in his profile for some weird reason.

but anyway. i just bought an ebay spoiler and installed it today with the tape they provided. paint is really good, i'm pretty surprised. craftsmanship is good too. only complaint is that it seems to be a little bit shorter in length than the length of the trunk so there's about a half inch separation on either side. only noticable up close. pretty happy with it considering i paid less than 1/3 the cost the dealer was gonna charge me.
