Default Anyone else feel the front end is too long?

Looking at pics of the car it seems like the front end is too long and the wheels are too far towards the center of the car to look aggressive. Is it just me, or is it something else giving the car a goofy stance? Maybe the body is just too long for the wheelbase. Something is just off with the car...

Angled views are ok, but the profile looks weird.

It's the extended wheelbase!! Although it does look weird per say, it is also the same car many of us are drooling over for the longest of time now...

I say don't judge it in the pics because different pics do different effects... Go to a showroom then give us your best judgement :D Thats what most of us are waiting on to solve many of our woes...

actually its a perfect length the tC. long "wheelbase" and short "overall" length. what makes a 3series, IS300, A4, 350Z, G35coupe, look sleek is the design element of short overhangs that the tC has.

here's a perfect example of long wheelbase and long overall length. as much as i love the supra from certain angles it didn't look proportionate cause the car was too long. it would've been nicer if it was a couple of inches shorter.

poormans G35coupe..

Whoa! I never realized how much the tC looks like the G35 Sports Coupe, and I love that car! Almost makes me wish I bought a tC :?

You must not of done a google search about the tC you DoNuT.... There are a billion resembelances the tC has to offer :D By far the R34 front, and the G35 coupe style is most evident...

BMW headlights, Tiburon tali lights... Mercedes mirror turn signals and panoramic roof...

These are all cars you might have over looked :D

It's super heavy... Seriously, compared to what it USED to be... (Was suppose to be the next Skyline) The G35C is a super downgrade...

Come on man... To go from a Straight 6 to a V-6 is a big enough downgrade...

Now, you tell me in your own words... For 30K ish, that car isn't slow?

Obviously it isn't Civic stock slow, but you gotta compare to other cars in it's class...

the g35c isnt really all that heavy. its only about 188-247 pounds heavier than the 350z coupe. its about the same weight as the 350z roadster. thats not super heavy. its just a little heavy

if the G35c is to be the next skyline then yeah.. it is a big downgrade. to me, a true skyline has to have the RB26 series engine under the hood and is under the Nissan name.

think i just got a chubby
I don't think I've ever heard that one.

But back on topic , Skylines, The quintisential Sports Sedan.
If only they were over here.

I think they should start making the Evo V and VI again over here , they are also awesome, If only if only.

What is the main reason why these cars arn't over here?

The tuner shop next door to my work has a skyline. Very slick. Gotta love that long hood, the flaired fenders and those ferarri-like tail lights.
Very neat car, but still would rather have a supera tho. It's a toyota.

Some or most of which has to do with smog regulatoins... Which is why the Sylvia never made it across shores too... MotoRex was the only importer (only legalizer actually) of the R34... There were only about 5 I think total in the whole United States...

You can get a R32 for about 31K final pricing...

I've been thinking about it... R32 is mad fast... Stock 13 flat!! It's not just the speed, it's the twin turbo that makes me want one so bad...

Anywho... I've seen every Skyline during my HK trips and I love to own any of them :D I'd bath them everyday :D

In answer to the original question... there's no such thing as too long of a front end. I HATE this cab forward, transversely mounted crap... Cars are SUPPOSED TO have long front ends and front overhangs. As far as looks go, give me a 2005 Mustang any day of the week.

Unfortunately, there's this thing called a "live rear axle"...
