What was bad about it?

 

could be a poor photoshop, but look at the gap around the upper right portion of the scion badge...very inconsistant with the gap around the rest of badge.

 

From the looks of the image, the fitment looks terrible. The bottom of the top grill looks like it has a gap in the center.

 

fitment was crap... it came as flat mesh with weather stripping which you had to apply. No mounting hardware. They want you to zip tie it to the stock grille.


plus i must have been blind cause that thing looks like trash.


DONT BE CHEAP! Trust me dude... I have been in ur shoes looking to mod a car on a budget. If you want to do it right, do it yourself to save money. If you want something cheap I could sell you my old top grillcraft grille for 50 bucks and explain to you how to mount it the way I had it setup (somewhat ghetto... but better than that)

 

for another $50 i'd get the the powder coated black grill from customtc.com it looks good imo

Yeah Im planning on buying a bunch of things from there, but im looking for a grill where i could keep the tc badge

 

you can keep it on any one really... just pull it off and reapply it using new 3m tape.
