Actually these were on the market before VRDs, they are more knock-offs of the is300 lights.

Here are mine, smoked with yellow H3 bulbs:

Pretty flush with the bumper:

Looks cool. I might get these instead of the VRD's.

Does anyone know if this will fit into the '08 tC (not RS or SPEC; just regular)?

Body wise, the 05-08 are the same. The car has not changed mechanically or physically (besides cosmetics) since it debuted.

I wonder if these will fit with the RS1 front lip? I'm still waiting for the CF lip to be off back order then will find out!

These are the rejected VRD design. They used to be a lot cheaper too. Nice to see people bought them and modded them. They used to have an ugly orange color in the housing looks like things have changed.

Okay my first attempt at working on my car and this noob already have a problem. Just to clarify on my post from before, I bought these, but I asked for the VRD's installation instructions because they're basically the same. So I followed the instructions for the OEM fogs, because someone mentioned that the wiring are the same except for the bottom grill part. I am at the first step where I have to remove the engine under covers. Thing is, I can't find them. So the question is: Do I really have to remove the front bumper to install these? If not, can someone please show me the best way to install them on an '08 tC?

Will collaborate with pics of under the car tomorrow.

^What I did was take the wheel off, and peel back the wheel well splash guard. You do have to remove the splash guards underneath via some screws, but it's easy. There is a DIY on how to remove those splash guards on an intake install DIY, Ill find it later...all you do is remove the two screws by the fender, remove the 2-3 screws under the splash guard and peel back the liner.

You think this is how the dealer does it?

Probably, the two body shops I went to for my intake were going to do it that way after I told them it's easier than taking the bumper off.

What are you afraid of? You're not going to mess anything up, unless you fail to tighten down your lug nuts properly and your wheel falls off, or if you lose the screws to the fender liner

Lol that ^. But I will try it this way over the weekend. I just need to be able to get to those damn holes at the bottom of the bumper so I probably won't take my wheel off.
