Default Anyone Tried HeadlightArmor?

I think the HID blue covers would look good- definitely alot cheaper than real HID lights!

havnt tried their overlays for the head lights but i have their 20% tint for my tails. i would recommend getting vht for the tails. its got a few bubbles and hard as hell to put on. me and a buddy did it with his wrx lights facing the back of my car so we could see what the hell we were doing (it was like 11.30pm) when we did it. as for the front lights i have seen a guy in my town and i saw he had blue headlights. i thougt it was the over lay so i asked him. he took some clear coat and put a tiny bit of blue in it and mixed it up. wet sanded and did another coat. doesnt look bad.

It's funny this came up. I just got mine in the mail and they are the HID blue for the headlights. I put them on durning the day and used a lot of soapy water and the squigy thing. Anyway they came out awsome!!! You have to be patient and take your time but they are well worth it. It is like putting on tint just thicker, there will be bubbles and some moisture but give it a day or two and they will even out and now it looks perfect no bubbles no moisture. Also they are more beneficial than clear coat spray cause they also protect the headlights from rocks and other stuff. Get them they are awsome and i got them very quick.

I have had mine for over a year now with no issues. Here's a couple of pics of the HID Blue Covers

Currently on the tC (With CF Eyelids)

I highly recommend this product! It's nice and thick so you know it will protect your headlights.
But you definitely need PATIENCE to apply these. The first one is rough. Once you know how to apply these the second one is cake.
For the price, I say go for it!

I bought the the tailight tints from headlight armor, I had to get 2 shops to try to get them to fit, after not being able to get them to fit, both shops told me they were cut improperly. When i called headlight armor, they gave me BS excuses and they didnt warranty me the parts to get them replaced for the same pair.

Almost everybody has gotten their perfect fit tint kit, but i was the unlucky one, anyways from my own personal experience i will never ever ever buy from them or recommend them.

Instead i went with the real deal: http://www.jonstintedtails.com/galle...0Gallery/Scion

I just recently bought the tails/tbl/side mirror turn signals from headlight armor...

Installation can be tricky, just need to be very patient! I however was not patient with mine, and will be getting replacements to do them over again.

Overall, my experience with the company was great. They responded to my emails very quickly, and the product was at my house in 2 days. Personally, I absolutely LOVE the look of them... I just need to find somebody to install them for me this time around.

I saw the TC above had the headlights installed, how is it at night? Does the armor hinder your visibilty? (their site recommends the headlights for those cars that arent run at night)

^^^ are you referring on my tC... well its 50% "dark" to me its very light.... on night? there is no problem at all its still the same like normal... i do have HID kit run through my headlights, i think it helps a bit on glare... by not blinding oncoming cars including cops and troopers... i have it about 2 months now... never been pullover...

I've been debating whether to get smoked headlights as well.... but if there's not much of a visibility issue, I may have to get them now. Right now my headlights look out of place with the rest of my car looking dark.... hmmmmmm.....

I just reordered the tails yesterday... and they said they would throw in the TBL no charge also... since I messed mine up so badly. Still afraid to put them on myself again.... but I think I was just having a bad day when I put them on, after just losing my job that morning.

And I don't speak tagalog... trying to learn tho. Although it's pretty difficult not knowing anybody else around here that does.... if anything, in the end, I'll probably just be able to read/write it. Wanna help?

Some great looking photos!

While the installations do take some patience the results are worth it ;)
We have step by step DIY Tutorials for the installs here for the tC's Headlights, Taillights, and even the trunk TBL. Feel free to pm if you have any questions about the application process shown in the DIY's.
