Default anyone try THESE ebay headlights??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Scion...spagenameZWDVW

I offered the guy what I thought was a good price for em and he accepted.

It was kinda a low ball off but he took it I wasnt expecting him/her to take that low of an offer.

Anyways they are on the way now.

Anyone try em? Any issues with water getting in them? or the headlight fogging up?

I think after i get these put in and I see that they dont get water in them im going to get some HID bulbs/ballast. I was told that with projector headlights there is less/no glare ,is that correct?

thanks

i ain't gonna lie but i used to like these and i searched them up to see what people thought about them and there seemed to be alot of issues with like the cut-off, the lights fogging up, halo's burning out, and that amber just looks bad.

Mainly heard that ebay ones are never sealed properly and fog up very easily. Also have heard alot of the LEDs burn out whithin a short time period. I would run a bead of extra silicone around the housing to make sure they are sealed properly.

^^ ditto. I actually do like these the best out of all the ones on Ebay. OEM still looks the best imo.

for the people who are sayng "no" and such, have you tried them yet??

if not and i go by what people who have not tried stuff out I wouldnt have a tc.
Everyone says the tc is slow and blah blah blah, but unless you drive one you know
For instance i bought a cheap CAI on ebay for 50 shipped and it works as good as a Fujita I had.
Everyone said " the ebay one is crap" It works the same
im not trying to come off as rude but alot of people just go with what others online say

I plan on using silicone around the headlight.

I think they're probably just speaking on instinct and what they see of the product. Atleast that's why I said no. Get it if you want. We're just offering opinions, u dont have to listen if you dont want to

yes ive tried them... they were my first aftermarket headlights before my anzo's... and truthfully i should of listen to people when they said no.. because cut off line sux.... the halo's were not even considered halo's because they were soo weak and not CCFL... it fogs up over time as well..and within a month ... the plastic of the headlights starts to break down and become flaky and chip... Try it for urself..

I would say to use the return policy. Like everyone else has said, they will fog up. The seal quality is very poor on Ebay headlights. Use the money and get a pair of the 2008 headlights. If yo hae trouble finding them PM me.
