this is my third set of b bat's tail overlays...
thats about 70 bucks with special deals cuz is F***ed up so many times!!!
...i know alot of you tC owners did the tail overlays..
but how many unsucessful like me?

and those sucessfull ones..!! how did you do it!
i keep getting nasty wrinkles by the corner of the lights closest to the center fo the car...
nasty and !!!!!!!!!!!AHHH!!!!!!!>>!>>>..... im gonna order one more.
and thats it.>!!!!!!!!!!!

No Its not funny..It ____ed me off as well..Did you try soaking the film in soapy water and installing them?

BBats did a How-To Article on it with pics.. I saw it and wanted to try again.. I will later.

Ya, take a look at my DIY application, complete with pics! Otherwise, maybe have a tint shop do it for you. I have a shop here in San Diego, I send my local customers to. He does a great job too .

yea thanks bat.. good idea..
i read the DIY after the first time i messed up... and im on my 4th set now..
but the 2nd of sets i created myself through oracal... much lighter on my expense..
since i might F*** up again!! lol..


.. yea im going to get the local decal guy in town to put them on...
i dono how much he'll charge... but i hope not much...
we'll see on monday!1...

lol if you replace the object with the word 'crack' it will still sound the same.

well for my half tail overlays..i wet it..then started at the end of the tail..working the way twards the hatch..once it dried i kept one finger on the side..and almost pulled the overlay twards the hatch..so mine is as tight as it gets with no bubbles..i jus had to cut the excess at the end

so you started outside in?... ty for the input..
now did anyone do the full smoked tail overlay sucessfull...
anyhints/help/guidelines for putting on the bottom half?/...

i did mine. wasn't too bad. not exactly perfect, but my side mirror overlays i beg to differ. those were even harder, but they're so close to being perfect. all you need is a little help and a handy blowdryer.

i also came up with an idea for a new overlay for the 3rd brake..what do ya guys think? bat think u could make up sumthing like this?

I got a set of these a while back. When I tried to put them on it seemed like they were the wrong shape. I could not get it to look right at all, so I put it back on the backing. Eventually I'll try the otherside to see if I can figure it out, then order another set to replace the one I messed up.
